Stoer Primary School
Head teacher: Miss Angela Macleod
Situated beside a small loch, one mile north of the village, is the Primary School. The school building is traditional from 100 years ago but has been restructured and modernised inside.
The School Catchment Area extends from Clashnessie in the North to Clachtoll in the South and includes Balchladich, Raffin, Culkein, Clashmore and Stoer Village. In recent years, with the closure of the school at Drumbeg, children from that area now travel to Stoer.
The staffing is 1.5 teachers, at present, with visiting teachers to support the teacher in the Arts, PE and Learning Support. There is also Management and Clerical Support. There is Nursery Provision.
